Will Ants harm my Vegetable Garden?

Will Ants harm my Vegetable Garden?

Ants do not themselfs harm the vegetables in your garden. Actually, they can encourage the growth of aphid populations, which are harmful to your garden. Ants protect aphids whenever they are eggs, and when they are born, ants carry them to plants to eat which in return makes them yellow. Carpenter ants may, however, damage wooden structures in the garden.
